International Exchange of Contemporary Asian Performance Art and Live Art

PAN ASIA(Performance Art Network ASIA) is an active organization for international artistic cooperation. Focusing on alliance and cooperation among performance art and live art festivals in Asia, PAN ASIA is searching for distinctiveness, universality, and humanity of Asia.

아시아 각국을 대표하는 동시대 아시아 ‘퍼포먼스 아트’, ‘라이브 아트’의 국제교류전

판아시아(퍼포먼스 아트 네트워크 아시아)는 아시아 각국의 퍼포먼스 아트, 라이브 아트 페스티벌의 연계와 협력에 초점을 두고 활발하게 활동하고 있는 국제 예술 협력 기구이다. 퍼포먼스 아트를 통하여 아시아적 특수성과 보편성, 그리고 아시아의 인륜성를 발견하고자 한다.

통상적인 시선을 뛰어넘어 삶의 실존을 슬기롭게 바라봐야 하는 위험한 연속선상에 있는 오늘날의 세계는 더욱더 친밀한 인간다움을 향하는 탐색이 요구되는 때이다.판아시아는 다층적이고 확장된 접근을 통해 현대 퍼포먼스 아트의 미래적 지향점을 전망하고자 한다.

판아시아는퍼포먼스 아트를 통해 아시아 각 지역의 이질적인 문화가 교차하는 삶의 역동적인 현장이다. 판아시아는 이에 국경을 초월한 현대 예술의 교류를 통하여 아시아적인 정서를 나누고자 한다. 또한 판아시아는 다매체 실험의 서막을 이루었고 변혁의 시대를 견인하였던 퍼포먼스 아트의 진화가 현재에도 더욱더 가속화되고 있음을 주목하고자 한다.
